Tung Ho Steel was originally known as “Tung Ho Hardware,” and had been involved in ship dismantling as well as buying and selling of steel. • KATEC CREATIVE RESOURCES CORP.

  Katec Creative Resources Corporation was established in 2006 in Guanyin Township, Taoyuan County. • Tung Sugar Energy Services Co., Ltd.

  Established in 2019, Tung Sugar Energy is a joint venture partnership of Tung Ho Steel, Taiwan Sugar, Far Eastern Steel, and KATEC Corporation dedicated to conversion of industrial and agribusiness organic waste to electricity and organic fertilizer. Its state-of-the-art anaerobic digestion plant in Pingtung County's Neipu Industrial Park is Taiwan's first private sector renewable biogas energy merchant facility.
  The plant will produce 5,600,000 kWh/year of "green baseload" electricity, enough to power 1,334 Taiwan households all year no matter the weather. It additionally will produce 1,000 metric tons of organic fertilizer annually.
